At China 1 Link quality is non-negotiable. In order to maintain it we look for qualified vendors. For every customer / project, C1L conducts a thorough factory audit to validate the partner factory. This is done to verify the factory capability, anticipate quality issues, moreover to gauge the reliability. We ensure the factory is compliant with norms and standards, and all system processes are at place; by investigating the following:

 

  • Factory details: contacts, real location, shareholders origin, starting date…
  • Infrastructure: Building, equipment, production line, machine, IT…
  • Track Record: Clients, Main market, reputation…

Moreover our audits are based on the following but not limited to:

  • Compliance: ISO, WRAP, REACH, BSCI, etc…
  • Social responsibility: SA8000, Fair trade practices; Transparency; etc

Development

The blueprint cycle

Development is a crucial aspect. This actually onsets the major phase of the cycle. In this stage the sample is made ready as per the details provided. This also means that it should meet the features and the quality as finalized at the time of ordering. Development has to be perfect in order to step into production stage.

 
 
 

Production is a complex process that involves manufacturing the product that was assigned and conceptualized. Proper negotiating and contracting, prior to an order finalization is always done. This is the primordial method of securing an order. Along with this, rigid contracting laws are laid in China in order to have advantage from the very beginning.

 

We then monitor production vs. production planning as a key to ensure efficiency throughout the order. With Time and Arrangement planning and proper order flow we can oversee contingencies and avoid major delays.

Our regular product monitoring identifies problems as they happen and is carried forward as examples for workers to avoid mistakes that serve as red flags for any future corrective actions. 

 

Quality Assurance

The Control Mechanism

 

We ensure quality to be at its best by running control mechanism in various stages. We set standards, systems and procedures in factory sourcing, lab testing, pre-production stage and finally through on-site quality control inspections.

 

 

Pre-production

We start by verifying raw materials to start the mass production of goods, check all tools and process that will be used during manufacturing. We make certain that all instructions and requirements are well understood by the factory.

And also ensure production starts on time by taking corrective actions before the beginning of the production.

In-Line inspection

Inspections are then carried on periodically and throughout the order production, monitoring the quality of goods as they are being produced, while checking for specific requirement defined to lead preventive action plans before the end.

Standards set in pre-production are followed through the inline to avoid surprises at the end.

Final inspection

Once production is at a near completion, we re-evaluate the final goods, checking for consistency and quality, through testing and performing AQL of the complete order. We also insure the shipment so that the delivery is done on time at your destination without any damage.
